Comments:   Hi there, I just finished watching "Elvis and the Men Who Would Be King", on the Discovery Channel. There was a comment on there that bothered me. The guy said that there were no "Elvis police" ....well, there should be! Because some of these guys are embarrassing "The King's" image in those cheap awful jumpsuits and with those non-Elvis moves! I have seen quite a few impersonators and by far BRANDON BENNETT is the BEST I have seen yet!! I have also been to a competition and I agree with the guy that said that they weren't judged on the three things they were supposed to be judged on, but on how they worked the crowd... If you want to see how "The King" looked, sounded and moved check out Brandon Bennett's website @ elvismyway.com....He will show you how the image of "The King" is suppose to be!
Response from EEN:   Brandon is one of the best! Please don't judge the ETA world by that film. The producer had many hours of great ETA's - but - chose to use the "jokes."

Comments:   Hi Nancy, It's April. I just wanted to tell everyone that the cruise was AWESOME!! Dwight, Quentin, Robert, and Irv all did a great job on their shows. Also on the last night Quentin and Dwight were part of the Cruise's Legends show. Q sang Livin' La Vida Loca and the crowd went wild!! All you heard were screams!! Dwight had 2 parts. He first came out as Elton John and was great. Then later on he came back and did Elvis. He even had dancers behind him on that one! But I had so much fun hanging out, dancing, and laughing with all the guys and their fans! BRAVO!! See ya, xo-April
Response from EEN:   It was the best cruise ever! Everyone seemed to have a ball! The ship was comfortable and the weather was perfect. I can't wait for next year!

Comments:   I'm so glad I found this website!
I saw Steve Sogura at the Muckleshoot Casino a couple months ago. I must say that he is the best I have ever seen. He "touches" the audience with his presence alone and his talent is beyond amazing. You can "feel" Elvis in him and he does a superb job representing the King and all he stands for. I'll be forever moved after seeing Steve perform that night. He is truly one of a kind. Thank you Steve for doing what you do! Oh, and I love your eyes! Sandy
Response from EEN:   We're so glad you enjoyed seing Steve. He is great! But - Muckleshoot Casino? You've got to be kidding!

Comments:   I am curious as to who were the runners up and the winner in the Tribute to the King contest held in Milwaukee, WI (Pottawatomie Casino) this January. I have tried several search engines and sites and could not locate the answer. I won't be able to sleep at night until I know. Thank You.
Response from EEN:   I feel terrible! All the sleepless nights! ok - Donny Edwards was 2nd, Matt Joyce - 3rd, and Jesse Aron - 4th. Now - go to bed!!!!!

Comments:   Hi everyone, WOW! This IS the most friendly & positive Elvis/ETA area I've found! I think the most un-safe ETA chat area I've ever been to was "Girl's Guide to Elvis", whew,...they are Brutal to ETAs! I feel safe here,...lol I've seen most of the ETAs on video or their web-site's so often, I feel like I already know most of them,...but, I'm from Ohio, and don't get a chance to travel to Chicago. My Tribute to Elvis deals with his 1950's era. If you would like to check it out, type:
www.webspawner.com/users/hillbillycat/index.html yeah, it's a long address,...no sound byte's either,...but, it's a start. It will probably come-up also if you search; "Mark Lee Pringle as the Hillbilly Cat". Well, I've never had so much fun as being an ETA, lotta' work, but worth it!!! I've been an Elvis FAN forever,(since I was four!), seen all his movies, my wife and I have been to Graceland 5 times, Sun studio 4 times, and Audubon Dr. once. I love Elvis' 50's career , but Nobody can sing "Hurt" like 70's "E."!!! I know I'm late to wish everybody Happy New Year,...but, Chinese New Year is right around the corner,...lol Great web-site'! Mark.
Response from EEN:   Thanks so much for visiting! Scott reads each letter before it is posted. We think it is worth a little delay to ensure that no negative comments appear. Life is too short to waste on negativity!

Comments:   Brandon Bennett is the BEST Elvis impersonator that I have ever seen. He is a NATURAL.......he does NOT dye his hair or wear make-up. He looks like, sounds like and moves just like Elvis. He is also such a young gentleman. He doesn't try to be Elvis.....he just enjoys entertaining and his fans from all over LOVE HIM ! ! ! !
Response from EEN:   Aha! You have discovered the Brat and been infected with Brandon Brain - a dread disease that renders the victim unable to think about anything but Brandon. Don't worry - it's not fatal - but - it NEVER goes away!

Comments:   Hello and Greetings one and all!

I'm the Director, producer and writer of Blue Suede Memories. John Loos is the Star of our show, he was selected after a national search.

This weekend was our first performances and I want you John's fans to know what a wonderful job he did! It was and awesome experience for everyone who walked in the door. Our show is more of a Theatrical presentation and you actually get to see John do some acting, and  we're very pleased with the results.

In this show we actually create the filming of the 68 comeback special including all the dialogue, it looks so real. One woman's comment "I always dreamed of what it would be like to be there, now I know." If you get the chance come to Oklahoma you don't want to miss John's theatrical tribute to the king of Rock and roll.

I'll be writing from time to time to keep you the fan's know how things are going. Until next time take care and break a leg The new Yellow Rose theater.
Response from EEN:   Thank you, Orin, for forwarding this letter to us. John came by last night on his way home and showed me the video of the show. It was fabulous!

I have to say your grandkids are absolutely beautiful ;) Looking forward to seeing everyone asap again.

Thanks,

Comments:   Hi Nance hope you and your family had an enjoyable holiday and the new year be as great as the last. I enjoy visiting your website and reading all the postings. They are always positive and informative. I belonged to or should I say I used to belong to ETA yahoo groups. So many postings anymore are so negative and into ETA and ETA community bashing I don't waste my time. It surely would turn a reader off from an ETA that permits this type of trash on his group. Keep up the good work. Hope to make it to Gatlinburg for the contest in February.
As Always

Comments:   I have seen many tribute artist, but the one that sticks out in my mind is Leo Days. I am very surprised he is not part of your group. He is one fantastic performer. He really looks and acts just like the King.
Response from EEN:    Leo is an excellent performer and we are pleased that he got so close to getting the Elvis role in the miniseries.
