Hey Nance,
Sorry we couldn't make it to Dewey Beach this year. Heard it was great a
contest and the crowd was , as usual, really into it. Wifie and I went
to Vegas to repeat our vows...25 years and take in a few shows. The
kids, Aaron and Lisa stood up for us. It was great! You know how close
our family is. What's up with the talk around town we heard? The Branson
contest is going to have some producer who is filming an ETA documentary
for EPE? What a chance for the ETA's. Wifie and I will be there and, of
course, at your Christmas show. See you then.
Always TCB

Wanted to say
that my mom and I had a WONDERFUL time in Dewey Beach this past weekend.
A special thanks to (Nance, Marie, Kathy, Jerome, Ronnie, Kayla, Dwight,
and my husband Irv) for making the weekend so much fun and enjoyable.
The boat cruise on Sunday night was the perfect ending to a GREAT
weekend - good idea babe. Definitely looking forward to it again next
year.
Sincerely,
Beth Cass |

Beth, it was
wonderful to spend time with you. The entire weekend was fun - but - I'm
glad I wasn't in the tent when it blew down. Anyway, it made for a lot

Just wanted to
say that the Elvis Explosion was GREAT once again. Thanks to Ronnie for
putting on such a class event. Nice job by The Change Of Habit...you
guys sounded Great!
Congrats to Matt on a well deserved win! Matt is such a nice guy and on
a personal note.. he has always given me great advice and encouragement.
Congrats to all the contestants!
Also, Thanks to everyone who came out for Karaoke hosted my Cherie and
myself at the Days Inn. We had a big crowd every night, and we
appreciated all the ETA's taking the mic (or I would have had to sing
for 6 hours straight!!) It was cool to her all the ETA's sing other
non-Elvis songs too. Just goes to show you how talented they truly are!
And Irv nice job on Blue Moon Of Kentucky. I've never heard you sing
that...it was excellent! There was only one disappointment...I DID want
to her Nance sing, oh well maybe next year!
I'd like to thank Cherie for hosting the Karaoke with me and for all her
help ie. Makeup (ya I wear it!), Moral support and her encouragement! I
owe a lot of my success to her as well as her mom Darlene and Nance.
It's been an exciting and fun three years as an ETA. I look forward to
many more!
Thanks to all the Elvis Fans coming out and having an awesome time. hope
to see you all at The Elvis Fantasy Fest in Portage in October.
Peace Out |

Response from EEN: |

What a pleasure
to see you and Cherie! You did a great job in the contest and for the
karaoke. I don't remember a better karaoke session anywhere. You don't
want me to sing - I would clear the room! |

Hello Elvis
Fans, I just wanted to take this time to congratulate "George Wagner"
for placing no.#1 in the great state of Tennessee! George you are so
deserving of all the 1st.place winnings I have seen you receive. I think
Elvis would be so honored and flattered that you do such an outstanding
performance in keeping his memory alive. We are so very proud when we
bring friends to see you for the 1st. time, they're amazed, just as the
lady that was from Tennessee told me last night at Mountaineer .."said
she saw the real McCoy before and your alikeness to him was
astonishing"! We want to wish you much happiness and success, God Bless
Always...We love you, Auberta & Gayle |

back to Canada, he performed at our home town fair in Acton, he filled
the venue we had inside, and also drew three hundred more fans standing,
screaming and applauding outside. The Canadian fans love him, and hope
that he will return soon. Thank you Irv. An added plus his beautiful
wife Beth joined him on this trip, making my grandson Indiana so happy
by, she and Irv trying out the fair rides with him, and staying out our

I was able to
make it to the Elvis Explosion in LaCross this past weekend and all of
the ETAs deserve a Congratulations each and every one had a good
performance. This has been a hard year for me and I really needed the
time away, I'm not much of a social butterfly so I did what I do best
sat back, relaxed, did a little dancing and just enjoyed watching
everyone have a good time. It was so nice to be surrounded by so many
fellow Elvis Fans again.
Thank You

I traveled with
Matt & Veronica to LaCrosse this past weekend and it was a great
weekend! Beautiful weather and a lot of extra fun things to do, like the
Karoke nights, what a lot of talent and what a lot of fun! It's always
fun seeing the guys relax and having a good time sharing their
friendship as well as their talent. It's always nice meeting all of the
other Elvis Fans and this contest is for such a good cause makes you
really thankful for all you've been blessed with when you see what some
little kids and their parents have to go through. It leaves a lump in
your throat and an ache in your heart for them, but to know that Elvis'
music is still helping people like this makes you proud to be an Elvis
fan!
The contest was very tense with so much talent in one place. Each and
every one of the contestants sang their hearts out for the Elvis Fans.
What more could we ask for.
I want to congratulate Matt on his win as well as all of the other
winners. You all did a great job!
Hope to see you all again soon.

You.

Hello Elvis and
ETA fans, family, and friends. I am sorry I missed "Elvis Explosion."
Ronnie puts on a great show, and as an ETA it is a great event to be a
part of. The EEN treats their people very well. I hope everyone had a
great time and that you guys jammed on stage. I had to cancel because I
came down with a bad cold. I recently got hired as an English teacher
and my students have a habit of being sick (thanks a lot). I was
thinking about blaming my cancelization on John Loose, but that would
raise too many questions. Take care everyone-I missed performing and

Hello Fellow
Elvis Fans,
Thanks to all of the Elvis fans who cheered us guys on, during Ronnie
Craigs Elvis Explosion. Everyone in the contest did a wonderful job. It
was defiantly one of the toughest ones I‘ve been in. Wanted to say hello
to all of the fun people at the Days Inn Karaoke. We also had a great
time after the contest. Great job to Curt and Sherry on running Karaoke,
it was fun. And special thanks to all of the Wisconsin folks who shared
their hospitality with all of us. Also a congrats on the "Change of
Habit Show Band" for a great job, nice addition with the new guitar
player. Trevor and Travis, you touched my heart. I also enjoyed Dwight
and Irv's shows, Irv that peacock suit looks great!!! Special thanks to
my wife Veronica a.k.a. Poncho for helping me get ready before the show.
Again THANK YOU ALL, I am very grateful for my success a this event.
Sincerely, Matt King
On a side note:
There is one contestant in particular I'd like to address. He felt the
need to disparage my win in his own public forum. His comments surprised
me, as up until they announced the winners, I thought we were friends.
It’s hard enough when we are all friends and have to compete against
each other, but when one of our fellow ETA's goes against the grain of
our brotherhood, it’s just disappointing. I'd like to share a quote from
a great American football player, Dan Marino. He once said, "The
scoreboard can't make you a loser. If you walk off the field with your
head up, you don't lose. You don't hang your head for nobody. People in
the stands think you're the greatest or the worst - their opinion
doesn't make a difference. The only opinion that makes any difference is
your own opinion of yourself. Nobody can make you a loser." I'm sorry
you felt the need to write the things you did. But to me, I thought our
friendship meant more. |
|
Response from EEN: |
|
Congratulations, Matt! You are so right - no one can make one a loser -
you can only do that to yourself. |

Hey Nancy,
Just wanted you to know that we ( The Bennett Family) all are okay here
in Ponchatoula, LA. We wanted to take this time to thank everyone who
called and email their concerns about us all. Brandon & Band were in Las
Vegas doing their show at the Stardust Casino when the storm hit. Darren
flew home to get things ready here at home for the storm. Two of
Brandon's band members lost everything they owned. The lead guitar
player (Karol) and the drummer (Greg) and (Donna) his wife are with a
home and household & personal needs. They are going to relocate
somewhere near Ponchatoula. If there is anyone out there that would like
to help them get back on their feet you can bring it to them at one of
the shows or mail it to our home and we will see that they get it. All
they have left is what they had with them in Las Vegas. We thank you for
your thoughts and prayers at this time in all our lives.
Here is our address:

I am going to
be 4 years old Sept.7. I love Elvis, I have been to 7 Elvis Concerts
including Lue in Gatlinburg Tenn. All I ever wanted was Elvis to come to
sing at my Birthday Party, But my MumMum can't find anyone. So I want to
go see Lou again. I live in Portage Indiana. |

I just wanted to congratulate everyone for a job well done in Gatlinburg
this past weekend. I also want to thank Nance and Ronny for being so
great to me. You guys are awesome!! Dwight was wonderful as always and
I'm very fortunate to be able to call him my friend. It was also nice
seeing Lil' Bit again. LOL I want to wish everyone well as I close. God
