Dear Friends and Fans:

May rocked!

We began the month by driving to Omaha, Nebraska for the All Eras of ElvisŪ Show. This show was to benefit Hunt of a Lifetime which is an organization that grants hunting and fishing wishes to children with devastating diseases. Kelly Peterson and Diana Blumer did a great job organizing the show. Todd Martin, Dwight Icenhower, Irv Cass, Matt King, Paul Halverstadt, and Rick Lenzi were the featured performers and the show was wonderful! We all arrived a day early for Diana and Kelly to take us to the Omaha Zoo - what a great zoo! Wish I'd had a video camera when Irv and one of the gorillas were imitating each other.....

The following week, Ronny, Irv, Matt and I flew to Deadwood, SD. If there was ever a town that loves ElvisŪ, it is Deadwood! Irv, Matt and Ronny almost ran their legs off making extra appearances all over town. Many thanks to Pops, Carol, Jean, Ralph, and Bryan for running all of us around town to fulfill all the obligations. John Loos won the contest and brought the house down by taking his adorable son, Dakota, on stage to accept his award. The other winners were Paul Torrez - 2nd, Oscar Sosa - 3rd, and Tim Branigan - 4th.

On May 21st, ElvisŪ met the Beatles, again! Jim Barone and Irv Cass joined American English to benefit the Animal Welfare League. The house was packed and could that audience scream!!!

Once again, please offer your prayers for Linda Wagner to aid in her fight against cancer. George tells us that she is home and doing as well as can be expected.

Don't forget to check out our new Picture Corner. It's on the home page. We will try to keep current pictures in this area for your pleasure. Please! Please! If you have great pictures, send them to me at EEN1999@aol.com.

June will bring our 5th Annual Convention. We have a fantastic line-up and look forward to a wonderful weekend! There is a BIG surprise in store for everyone at the Friday night picnic! Our newest addition is a Gospel Brunch at Adam's Pub. They are really rolling out the red carpet for us with many exciting extras. Also, Chicago Magazine will be attending the entire weekend. As usual, Blue Suede Films (Almost ElvisŪ) will be filming the events and offering videos and CD's to fans.

Many happy returns to June birthday celebrants Matt King, Rick Lenzi, Ronny Craig, Curt Lechner, Rick Marino, David Crews, Dennis Stella, and Don Rose.

See you all at the Convention!
