Dear Fans and Friends:
It's actually June! 2005 has really flown by!
Irv Cass' ElvisŪ Fest was as
usual, a fun-filled weekend. Friday night, we celebrated Dwight's
birthday. The bar was full and we all enjoyed Dwight's show and all the
ETA's doing their karaoke. Carol Cass did a great job of organizing this
party.
Saturday and Sunday's contest was hard fought and the winners were:
1 - Matt King
2 - Chris Solano
3 - Johnny Loos
4 - Curt Lechner
5 - Danny Dale
This is always a party contest. I think because everyone stays in the
same hotel where the contest is held, they feel free to have a great
time. The weather was beautiful and the pool and hot tubs got a real
workout. I believe I heard it was 5:00 AM when the parties broke up.
I'm sorry to report that we will not be having a Convention this year.
The reasons are good - we have just been hired to do too many away shows
to have time to plan it. We will miss having everyone here for our
picnic - but - maybe next year.
Next week, Sara Derfler, Kathy Hood, Marie White, and I leave for Lake
George ElvisŪ Fest. This Fest looks to be the premier ElvisŪ Fest. Along
with the 60 contestant competition, there will be a sock hop, boat
parade on beautiful Lake George, fireworks, gospel brunch, and a
fabulous show called "Back to the Beginning" starring Ryan Pelton,
Johnny Loos, and Irv Cass. Add the Sweet Inspirations and DJ Fontana and

As I do every year, I thank all the wonderful people who sent presents
and cards for my birthday. I am truly blessed to have such great friends
in my life. I particularly love the silver cross and chain that someone

to be able to tell everyone all about it in a few weeks. In the

Please enjoy your summer. The dogs and I sit on the deck every morning
to make phone calls. Actually, I make the phone calls, Prissy runs
around the yard, and Trouble - well, she looks for trouble.
