Dear Friends and Fans:
A very happy early Easter to everyone! Our weather in Chicagoland is
beautiful and maybe, just maybe - my grandkids can have an outside
Easter egg hunt this year!
March found us at the Toledo ElvisŪ Fest with Michelle and Robert Rosencrantz. Their VIP guests - Joe Esposito, Myrna Smith, DJ Fontana,
and Ray Walker had a wonderful question and answer session that was
thoroughly enjoyed by all. Special guests
Dwight Icenhower, Robert
Rosencrantz and Irv Cass did a
fabulous job. The winners of the contest were:
1st - Chris Solano
2nd - Jesse Aron
3rd - Matt King
The Peoples' Choice was a tight race won by Jesse Aron with Matt King 2
votes back. Congratulations to all!
The decorations were beautiful and the food was yummy! Great job, Bob
and Michelle!
April brings us to Irv Cass' 1st Annual South Bend ElvisŪ Fest and ETA
Competition. Irv, Ronny Craig,
and Quentin Flagg will
provide great entertainment along with the contestants. Lots of tickets
already sold and the weekend promises to be fun for all!
Welcome to new EEN members - Dwight Icenhower,
Tony Rocker, Chris Solano,
Big Mike from Sweden, and Lou
Vuto. We are proud to have you!
We are starting to get the yard in shape for our June picnic. Hopefully,
this year, it will be cooler. 95 degrees at 11:30 at night was just too
much. The road construction is finished - so now - it's easy to get to
my house from Rt. 80.
Lots of exciting things in May! Hunt of a Lifetime Fundraiser in Bluff's
Run, Iowa; Deadwood ElvisŪ Fest in South Dakota; and our annual "ElvisŪ
Meets the Beatles" for the Animal Welfare League. We are traveling 20
weekends this year!
Happy birthday to April celebrants -
Paul Ross, Chris Solano, Jay
Allen, Tony Rocker, Todd
Martin, Michael Conti,
Quentin Flagg, and Michael Dean!
Many, many happy returns to all of you!
Our dear friend Patti Parry reminded me that Passover is this month and
we wish the best to our Jewish family members.
Everyone please enjoy the reawakening of God's green earth for another
year.
