Dear Fans and Friends:

Can you believe this heat? Wouldn't you know that this is the year I choose to put in a garden for the first time in 10 years? The tomatoes crawl across the yard EVERY morning and knock on my bedroom window - "Water!" they scream! I'm spending my golden years with a hose in my hand - golden years - bah - it's rust!

Everyone joins me in extending our heartfelt sympathy to George Wagner. His wife, Linda, has passed away after a long and valiant fight with cancer. George, we love you and your pain is ours also. God bless you...

Lots of happy news to report! John and Cindy Loos are expecting another baby! With little Dakota, the new baby and John, Cindy has 3 children to care for! Just kidding...

Brandon Bennett is getting married on Friday, August 5th! We will all look forward to meeting his beautiful bride, Rachel, in Memphis! I hope everyone takes the short run down to Tunica to see Brandon's show during Elvis® Week! Brandon also tells us he and Rachel are expecting a baby - maybe the first week in January! Maybe the 8th?

Brandon will be joining Shawn Klush next year at Lake George for an exciting Saturday night show called, "The Road to Vegas." Mark your calendars for a fabulous weekend - June 2-4, 2005 - Lake George Elvis® Fest.

We are pleased to report that Lou Vuto will be returning to Memories Theater. His wonderful Elvis® show will begin on September 1st! Plan your trips to Pigeon Forge in the beautiful Smokies to enjoy this great show.

Johnny Ray Gomez outdid himself this year with the Bluff's Run Casino ETA Contest! This is an invitational contest and Johnny Ray pays all contestants a minimum of $400, and supplies rooms and meals. The contest was fantastic as was the jam session. All of the ETA's joined Johnny and last year's winner, Dwight Icenhower, on stage. They all sang together for over an hour - from Elvis® songs to Johnny Cash to Alabama. Who would have thought Johnny's accordion would sound so good behind ETA's? It was a bittersweet weekend for Johnny. The contest was the last event to be held in the Bluff's Run show area. Even as the show was ending, the workmen were beginning to dismantle the stage. The good news is that a gorgeous new showroom is being built and we will have our contest there next year. The results were:

1st - Matt King

2nd - Todd Martin

This race was SO tight! The final face-off consisted of Matt in the fringe doing "Suspicious Minds" and Todd in the white suit singing "If I Can Dream." I have never been so happy NOT to be judging!

3rd and 4th place

Steven Freeman

Greg Ring

Is everyone ready for Memphis? I can't believe it's already time. Ronny, Kathy Hood and I will be driving down on Sunday. We are so looking forward to seeing old friends. It's like a huge family reunion!
