the Isle of Capri's $50,000 Tribute to the King! The finals will be in
Lake Charles, LA, the second weekend in January. We wish all 5 of them the
very best!
November 29th, the fabulous Sabre Room rocked with the 4th Annual EEN
Christmas show! Stars Matt King,
Doug Church, Jesse Aron,
Jerome Marion, and
Quentin Flagg with the
Exspence Account Showband treated the 700+ audience to a mixture of
Christmas music and traditional ElvisŪ tunes. Irv Cass and Ed Parzygnat
each added to the festivities with a song.
Ronny Craig brought all on stage
for the finale as the ETA's wished the fans a musical Merry Christmas
while passing out 200+ stuffed animals decorated with cards carrying
pictures of all. Many thanks (especially to Sara Derfler who handles
seating problems, doubles as scarf girl and generally decorates the whole
event) to all who helped make this night a glittering success.
Johnny Loos and the Exspence
Account Showband travel to New Mexico next week to entertain at the Sky
City Casino. They will be just outside Albuquerque on the Acoma Indian
Reservation.
Lots of holiday party performances bring us to Christmas and New Year's
Eve. As usual, the Exspence Account Showband will entertain at the Sabre
Rooms great New Year's Eve gala.
January - what an exciting month! The Chicago Bulls host an ElvisŪ Night on
January 5th, Potawatomi Casino's Tribute to the King with over $25,000 in
prize money is January 5th-8th, Hangge Upp hosts their third annual ElvisŪ
Fest in downtown Chicago. January 9-10 is the finals for Isle of Capri's
$50,000 Tribute to the King in Lake Charles, LA. January 16-18 will find
us in Pigeon Forge, TN, for the 1st Memories Theater ETA Contest. 30
contestants already have their entries into what will prove to be an
exciting competition!
Just about the time we all are about to drop dead from pure exhaustion, we
fly to New Orleans to enjoy this great city for a few days before we board
the Carnival Cruiseship Holiday for our 5 day trip to Cozumel, Mexico and
Grand Cayman Island. Patti Parry and I are roomies for this cruise and are
looking forward to a fun time with
Robert Washington, Lou
Vuto, Quentin Flagg and Irv Cass along with all the great fans!
Happy Birthday to December babies Mark Woodward and
Doug Church!
All of us at the EEN wish you the very happiest of Holiday seasons. On a
more personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of
you who attended our events this year and supported our wonderful
