Dear Fans and Friends:
2005 has already become a wonderful year! The ElvisŪ FANtasy Fest Cruise
- 4 was the best ever! Our Elvi were
Dwight Icenhower,
Quentin Flagg,
Irv Cass, and
Robert Washington. They
played and sang and played and sang. We spent 5 wonderful, sun-drenched
days catching up with old friends and making new ones. Marie White and I
roomed together - but - I can't keep up with that lady - she partied
from dawn to dusk! Patti Parry and I spent a wonderful day in Jamaica
where we visited, among other places, the flea market. We were offered
every illegal drug known to man and they would braid our hair while we
tried them out. Patti and I left and went to a great restaurant called
the Tradewinds where I sampled Jamaica'a wonderful Blue Mountain coffee!
We, of course, enjoyed Margaritaville.
At sea, we sat on the Lido deck in the warm sun watching our Elvi in the
pool. They went down the slide about 500 times! Their horseplay in the
pool didn't keep them from performing great shows! Two nights, we did
ElvisŪ! The guys put on fantastic shows and our 200+ crowd loved them!
The showroom was beautiful with u-shaped couches and a great stage.
Steve Christopher was our MC and kept us guessing with his unbelievable
knowledge of ElvisŪ lore. Patti Parry answered about a million questions
and was always surrounded by enthralled fans. Sherry Williams, one of
ElvisŪ' girlfriends, and her Mother joined us this year. Sherry is a
gorgeous lady and we could all see why ElvisŪ liked her. She was sweet
and patient with all our questions.
The Imagination held a Legends show on our final night. How proud we
were of Dwight as Elton John and Q as Ricky Martin. Not that we were
biased or anything - but - they stole the show!!!!
Plans are being finalized for shows and contests this year. Next week,
we travel to beautiful Gatlinburg for our 1st Annual ETA Contest at Lou
Vuto's Reflections Theater. For those of you who do not know Lou, he is
a top ETA and all-around good guy. The contest promises to be lots of
fun. One of our judges will be Patti Parry, ElvisŪ' good friend for 17
years!
Elvis Wayne's ElvisŪ Invasion takes us to Fort Myers, FL, the end of
April. It's an Images of ElvisŪ preliminary and Elvis and Donna have
planned a fabulous weekend. Then, ElvisŪ Meets the Beatles takes place
here in Chicagoland to benefit the Animal Welfare League. This is our
fourth year for this very popular show! May brings Irv Cass' South Bend
ElvisŪ Fest and ETA Competition. Last year, I went to bed as the Elvi and
fans were partying and, when I got up the next morning, they were still
going strong! Join us!
June brings us to the Lake George ElvisŪ Fest. Lake George is in New
York, about an hour north of Albany. The Sweet Inspirations and DJ
Fontana will join us for this fabulous weekend. There will be an Images
ETA competition, a boat parade on gorgeous Lake George, fireworks, a
gospel breakfast, and a wonderful Saturday night show starring Ryan Pelton, Irv Cass, Johnny Loos
and the Change of Habit Showband! Lake George is one of the most
beautiful places in the world and the town goes all out for this
celebration. Come and have fun with some of the nicest people you will
ever meet!
We are happy to announce that 2005 will bring our first Branson, MO,
ElvisŪ Explosion the weekend of November 11-13. More details later.
Have you noticed the changes on our home page? Scott has really spiffed
things up!
