Dear Friends:
Plans are coming along for the Convention over the July 4th weekend. Hope
to see many of you there. We are so pleased that Patti Parry will be
joining us. Patti is a wonderful person and spent many years with ElvisŪ.
She has fabulous stories about him.
We were thrilled to find that "Almost ElvisŪ" has been placed in the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. John Paget produced a wonderful
film - full of respect for the ETA's. We congratulate him!
What an exciting summer is ahead!
David Lee's great contest,
ElvisŪ
in Dixieland, is coming up June 14th. June 26-28, is the FANtasy Fest -
Indy. This year, both FANtasy Fests will be full blown contests. The
following weekend is our 4th Annual Convention.
Later in July, Doug Church and I
travel to Collingwood for him to recreate the Aloha Concert. This is my
first trip to Collingwood (and to Canada!) and I am looking forward to it.
Johnny Ray Gomez presents his contest at Bluff's Run Casino July 19-20.
Johnny Ray produces a fun contest and he certainly treats his contestants
like "kings."
Then, of course, it's on to Memphis!
We are pleased that we will be working with Dee Galen and Lou Vuto to put
on a contest at Memories Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN. We look forward to
traveling there in January next year.
